International Networks
In a global world and especially considering how many of our clients are looking outside the UK for growth, we felt that after five years of Praxis it is finally time to start formally cooperating with other professionals around the world.
Of course, there has been an international element to Praxis since inception. We have always acted for clients with an international flavour to their business, either selling abroad, with overseas ownership or UK-based multinational companies. But we have occasionally struggled to find reliable professional partners in every country that our clients are connected with.
Who is FY International?
FY International is a global network of finance professionals covering all areas of accounting, auditing, tax compliance, tax advisory, private client tax and other specialist services. The network was established in 2000 in North America and gradually expanded throughout the Americas then Europe and beyond. The network now covers most of the major global financial centres and many smaller jurisdictions.
Praxis x FY
Praxis is proudly independent like all the member firms of FY International. We feel that FY International’s focus on maintaining independence whilst fostering a collaborative and a client-first approach fits our own values. We have now been welcomed to the network and will work with our partner firms to:
- Get to know them, and their capabilities so that we can confidently recommend other firms to our clients.
- Build collaboration on areas like cross border tax and subsidiary auditing.
- Share knowledge and ideas so that we can keep innovating our services in a fast changing world.

As you can imagine, it was a great burden for three Praxis partners to take three days out of their busy schedules to travel to Cyprus last week for the global FY International Conference. We have already started to get to know many of the network firms in Europe, whilst enjoying some Mediterranean hospitality together. We will soon follow this up with further discussions to establish how we can serve each other’s’ clients in the future.
